The equipment of the Truba station enables the preservation, treatment and preparation of soil samples for transport to soil laboratories. It also enables the determination of basic pedophysical characteristics. It is also used for simple chemical and biological tests of forest soils.

The seed laboratory within the Truba research station represents the basic laboratory facilities for seed experiments, such as seed sorting, pre-sowing preparation (stratification), germination, longevity and germination tests, etc.
It is also possible to carry out analyses of planting material or specimen trees, whether non-destructive (e.g. measurement of the activity of photosynthetic pigments) or destructive (stressing with adverse temperatures, morphometric analyses, separation and determination of the dry matter of individual plant parts, etc.).
Within the pedological laboratory, storage areas, areas in cooling devices, sieves, Kopecký cylinders, probes, laboratory scales, and other usual laboratory equipment are available.
