The acquisition of three Horizon Europe projects can be considered a great success for FFWS. These are proposals that competed in the first calls of cluster 6 (Food, Bioeconomics, Natural Resources, Agriculture, and the Environment). In two cases, the Faculty will be a co-researcher. In one project, it will be a direct coordinator of the whole consortium.
These are the actual projects:
REFOREST Agroforestry at the forefront of farming sustainability in multifunctional landscapes in Europe (coordinator: FFWS CZU in Prague, Czech Republic; FFWS main researcher: Martin Lukáč)
CLIMB-FOREST CLImate Mitigation and Bioeconomy pathways for sustainable FORESTry (coordinator: University of Lund, Sweden, FFWS main researcher: Miroslav Svoboda)
CEE2ACT Empowering the Central and Eastern European Countries to Develop Circular Bioeconomy Strategies and Action Plans (coordinator: GEO, Hungary; FFWS main researcher: Miroslav Hájek)
The projects will be implemented between 2022-2027.
Congratulations to the project researchers!
