* It is necessary to pay the fee prior to enrolment in study. The applicant for study will pay the fee after being admitted to study but not prior to being granted the visa of the Czech Republic.
The study programme is taught at the CZU in Prague – Suchdol.
Conditions for the admission to the Bachelor study programme:
– submitting electronic applications including all necessary data and paying study fees of 750 CZK before December 31, 2024 (as specified further),
– successful passing entrance examinations,
– successful completing secondary education concluded with a school-leaving examination the certificate of which (either the original or its verified copy) will be required from the candidates when enrolling in their study.
If secondary education has been completed abroad, it is necessary to submit a Decision of Nostrification, i.e. the recognition of a secondary education level by the Czech authorities (more detailed information concerning the process of nostrification is specified here) or it is necessary to get the education recognized pursuant to the Rector´s Directive - The Assessment of Foreign Secondary and University Education within the Framework of Admission Proceedings (more detailed information is specified here).
The Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences informs the applicants that it does not take any part in the process of nostrification and the candidates will not be admitted to study without submitting the above mentioned document.

The admission procedures start with submitting an appropriately filled in and confirmed application form in the period from September 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024. If the applicants are interested in more study programmes, it is necessary for them to fill in the application form for each study programme separately.

The registration fee for submitting applications:
The fee of 750 CZK for each submitted application (the fee cannot be returned in any phase of the admission procedure).
The period for paying the fee is identical with that for submitting the application (December 31, 2024).
The fee can be paid on-line by credit card, by bank transfer or in cash at the CZU.

The applicants are asked not to forget to fill in the variable symbol (4375000125) as well as the specific symbol, i.e. the application number, which they will be sent to by email when the online application is being submitted.

The application status information (accepted for processing, duly paid…) can be found on http://is.czu.cz/prihlaska/?lang=en. The information about payment can be delayed (even some weeks) depending on the way of fee payment and proper filling in the payment order.
The invitation to entrance examinations, the decision on the remission of entrance examinations as well as on successful passing entrance examinations and the invitation to the enrolment in study including obligatory dates are available only on http://is.czu.cz/prihlaska/?lang=en.
Dates of entrance examinations:
The applicants will pass entrance examination on the subject related to individual study programme on February 5, 2025. The applicants will be invited to entrance examinations via the information system http://is.czu.cz/prihlaska/?lang=en The entrance examination will take place at the CZU in Prague or online.
The course of admission procedures, enrolment in study:
At the end of the period for sending applications, the applicants will be invited to entrance examinations. The invitation including the date of entrance examinations will be published on http://is.czu.cz/prihlaska/?lang=en. This information will be released only via this web page.
The admission of students from the countries under risk to critical study programmes will be conducted in accordance with the EU and Czech regulations and the regulation of the Dean of the FLD as amended.
The applicants who will pass the entrance examinations successfully will be notified of it and invited to the enrolment in study, which will require submitting the decision on the nostrification of their previous education or the result of the assessment of their education abroad within the framework of the admision procedures pursuant to the Rector´s Directive - The Assessment of Foreign Secondary and University Education within the Framework of Admission Proceedings. After submitting the necessary documents, the applicants will receive the Letter of Acceptance and will be enrolled in study.
The applicants can submit a Decision of Nostrification at entrance examinations or at the enrolment in study at the latest. The submission of the above mentioned document is a necessary condition for the applicant’s acceptance for study!
The applicants will be notified of the date of the enrolment in study in the Invitation to the Enrolment in Study. This information will be released only via this web page.
The enrolment in study will take place in July and September 2024. The date will be specified.
Fees for studying in a foreign language:
Studying in a foreign language (not in a Czech language) is subject to charges. The fees for the academic year 2025/2026 can be found here.
The fee has to be paid in full at the enrolment in study.
After being admitted to study, the applicants will find all necessary payment information in the electronic application form.

Visa Regulations for incoming students:
Students from the EU do not need a visa. All students (including those from EU) must register with the foreign police in Prague after their enrolment at the CZU.

When you receive the Letter of Acceptance, apply for a student visa at the Czech Embassy or Czech Consulate in your country of origin. You will get visa application forms (in five main European languages) that are to be filled in with the help of the embassy personnel.
