The bachelor study programme Game Management and Wildlife Conservation offers two forms of study – full-time and part-time. The programme combines basic forestry topics with key aspects of game management. Game management is viewed as important in the Czech Republic from all points of view, namely administrative, legal, biological, and economic. Within the study, game management is presented as a comprehensive scientific field and an integral part of sustainable management. The approach to it is thus based on the context of zoology, biology, anatomy, and ethology of animals. The study is implemented in a combination of theoretical lessons and field exercises. Graduates from the programme automatically obtain higher professional game management exams.
The state final exam is taken before the committee. Students defend their bachelor's thesis and take exams in three comprehensive subjects: Game management, Game ecology and ethology, Economic aspects of game management.
