The outdoor facilities consist of a polycarbonate greenhouse (80 m2), a poly tunnel (60 m2), a paved area with the possibility of controlled irrigation and stable shading (2 × 60 m2). The facilities are primarily intended for the experimental cultivation of tap-rooted planting material on an air cushion, or for sowing tests. Within the research station, there are also growing areas (about 3000 m2, part of the area is occupied) for the establishment of temporary experimental plantings of forest trees (without the possibility of irrigation or shading).
In addition to the nursery facilities, there is also equipment for establishing permanent experimental areas in the field. Equipment is available for manual and machine planting of forest tree seedlings (mattocks, planting spades and sticks, Stihl BT 131, BT 130 motorised earth augers).
