Housing scholarship

During studies at CZU you can apply for Housing scholarship. If you decide to apply for it, you need to follow these simple steps:

You need the Czech bank account - if you don’t have it, open a bank account in the bank in Czech Republic (KB bank is near the campus) – come to my office beforehand to get a confirmation of study (the basic student’s account is without charges).
Add your bank account number into your personal profile of your student account at IS.CZU.CZ – your submitted address must be abroad, not in Prague.
Ask for this scholarship only by electronic way.

Paydays are at the end of January, April and July. It means that you need to have your Czech bank account open till 31st January or 31st July. If you are leaving earlier you can try to arrange with the bank to close the bank account to the later date (after you receive the scholarship they can transfer your money before closing the account to your home account). Otherwise you can’t receive your money.

You have to apply for the scholarship immediatelly otherwise you won’t receive the money for the whole duration of your stay!!!

Changes during the mobility

Since incoming students are allowed to choose and mix courses from all faculties it is quite commong that selected courses overlap or there is at least partial timetable conflict. If you want to be sure that there will be no complication with your course selection, follow curricula of one study year of a particular study programme. However, if you choose courses from various programmes and faculties, conflicts are natural.

But don´t worry, because all Erasmus students are allowed to modify their Learning Agreement after arrival to CZU. Typically you have a possibility to modify (delete and add new courses) your Learning Agreement during the first two weeks of the semester.

you find a problem with your original selection of courses
you search for alternative courses fitting your timetable
you visit your CZU faculty coordinator in order to modify your course registration in UIS (faculty coordinator enter changes when he or she see no conflict)
you log in to Online Learning Agreement and make changes to your Learning Agreement, sign the changes online
your home university coordinator received email notification and approves (or deny) proposed changes by signing OLA online
CZU receives notification about changes and institutional coordinator signs your OLA; all changes are now approved and your course selection is final
