Last week an outreach event was organized by Dr Amit Roy (Head, Forest Molecular Entomology Lab) at the Forestry faculty to welcome the international visiting students (26) from Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agriculture University, Hisar, India (https://www.hau.ac.in/ ). The mini-symposium was inaugurated by the Vice-Rector for Education, CZU, prof. Ing. Jiří Remeš, Ph.D. and Dean of Agrobiology Prof. Josef Soukup. The initial session 1 has four scientific talks by researchers at fLD and agrobiology dealing with high-throughput research activities at CZU. The lunch at the Academic club is followed by the inauguration of session two by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, CZU, prof. PhDr. Michal Losťák, PhD. In the second session, the visiting students have FLD faculty tour facilitated by Ing. Radim Löwe from the FLD PR team. The tour follows an excellent scientific talk. The mini-symposium ended with the conclusion note by our dynamic vice-deans, i.e., Ing. Radek Rinn, vice dean for International Relations and doc. Ing. Tomáš Kušta, Ph.D., Vice dean for Science and Research At FLD, CZU.Food and drinks were served during the entire programme. Some of the glimpses of the programme are shared.
