The main objective of the entire project is to create a unique partnership between university students, academic staff, public and private entities in the field of hunting tourism using digital tools. Only with the support of mutual discussion, teaching and transfer of experience using digital tools can hunting tourism be developed in a sustainable form and contribute to mitigating the effects of climate change in the area of wildlife environment in mutual coexistence with humans.
Objectives:
- creation of a digital multilingual hunting tourism dictionary in the languages of partner countries (mobile application)
- creation of a joint subject of hunting tourism, which will be taught at the same time at all partner universities using digital tools
- a web platform created with stakeholders (associated partners) in the field of hunting tourism
- a hunting tourism summer school and field trips containing academic and practical experimental approach to development of hunting tourism
The project will increase the knowledge of sustainability of hunting tourism at international level, increase mutual understanding and cooperation, common solution to a number of problems in the field of forestry and game environment, strength critical thinking and willingness to lead discussions on this topic at an international level, connect individual stakeholders with the aim of jointly looking for solutions for the sustainable development, increase competences of using digital tools.
The duration of the project is three years. The Faculty of Forestry and Wood Sciences of CZU in Prague is the project coordinator. Other partners are the University of Novi Sad in Serbia, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece and the University of Zagreb in Croatia. The investigator for FLD is Ing. et Ing.
