The aim of the project is to verify five concepts selected by the FFWS Dean and individual departments from a wide portfolio of planned S & R results having application potential for the implementation of the National Research and Innovation Strategy for Intelligent Specialization of the Czech Republic and Regional innovation strategy of hl. M. Prague. These are the following concepts:
C01: Improving the production of ornamental and forest tree species to support the maintenance of urban greenery in the City of Prague
C02: Green Roofs with Biological Sewage Treatment
C03: Greening of sloping roofs
C04: Wildlife monitoring
C05: We help Prague greenery together
All concepts have identical preparation phases. The first phase, entitled "Verification of feasibility", will take place in the first 12 months after the start of project. Its goal is to create a feasibility study (output analysis) for all 5 concepts, summarizing all activities that have been achieved so far and main key parameters: completion of planned technology, verification of technical feasibility, creation of analysis of inputs, verification of the commercial site of the project, cost recovery, verification of interest of the application sphere and market demand, analysis of competition, proposal of protection of intellectual property, preliminary plan of commercialization of individual concepts etc. At the end of the analysis, it will be determined whether the concepts are technically feasible and whether they have a prerequisite for market application. In line with the call rules, output analysis will be presented to the University's Commercialization Council, which will assess the market application of individual concepts and will finally endorse those concepts that will continue into the second project phase. The minimum number of concepts proceeding into the second phase was set at 3. The aim of the second phase of the project is in particular: completion of individual outputs of supported concepts, development of a demonstration sample / prototype, establishment of cooperation with commercial partners, pilot verification of concepts, elaboration of the final plan of commercialization, purchase of consulting, legal and financial services, preparation of the chosen way of protection of intellectual property, The conclusion of this phase prepares selected outputs for commercialization itself.
The goal of the project is the final application of at least 2 outputs of the project in the commercial sphere or in the fields and topics solved by the local government of Prague in its operations and services.
