This time the host role was taken by the Forestry and Game Management Institute, v.v.i. The project meeting of the international project LIFE Adapt Brdy and subsequently also the Steering Committee took place on 4 June in the Březka Game Reserve, which is owned by FGMRI. All partners were represented, including the Staatsbetrieb Sachsenforst.
The morning programme focused on the evaluation of the implementation of specific objectives and outputs within the individual work packages and also on specific plans for 2024. On behalf of the ČZU, the presentations on WP6 were made by Ing. Zdeněk Vacek, Ph.D. and information on WP7, which the University is responsible for, was presented by Ing. Hana Brinkeová, Ph.D.
In the afternoon there was a guided excursion around the preserve, where the participants learned not only about the history of the preserve and its current management, but also visited the experimental plots where FGMRI conducts its research.
