Welcome to the Youth Bioeconomy Fest in Prague on March 11 — an event dedicated to fostering awareness of the bioeconomy within the community. Our aim is to create a platform for meaningful dialogue, facilitating the development of a robust network of allies who can share valuable information and experiences. Let's work together to support and boost the bioeconomy in the Czech Republic.
This festival is an integral part of the 'Bioeconomy Changemakers Festival,' a collaborative initiative by the European Commission (DG Research & Innovation) and the Bioeconomy Youth Ambassadors. This movement involves various cities, including Vienna, Brussels, Melle, Brno, Berlin, Jülich, Straubing, Stuttgart, Copenhagen, Tartu, Paris, Reims, Kozani, Thessaloniki, Cork, Tullamore, Napoli, Rome, Vilnius, Wageningen, As, Aveiro, Bragança, Lisbon, Novi Sad, Nitra, Lleida, and Seville, engaging in satellite events to share insights and experiences related to the bioeconomy.
Agenda:
Join us for a day packed with activities centered around the bioeconomy. In the morning, our Bioeconomy Awareness Session will feature engaging games and videos introducing the topic. Through interactive experiences, we aim to encourage learning about the new economic model that promotes a more sustainable future.
During the afternoon session, we will host a Youth Participation Forum. Here, we aim to explore how young individuals perceive and engage with bioeconomy, delve into the challenges they face, examine their innovative problem-solving approaches, and gather ideas to enhance the impact of their projects and initiatives.
Join us:
Whether you're already familiar with bioeconomy or are just getting started, we invite you to participate in this inclusive event. Register and plan your day to join us at the Faculty of Forest and Wood Sciences of the Czech University of Life Sciences.
This event is made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Forestry Faculty at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague and the young ambassadors of the International Advisory Council on Global Bioeconomy (IACGB).
